About

I’m originally from Wisconsin but, moved around quite a bit with my family to Iowa, Michigan, Kentucky, Illinois, North Carolina, and Texas. All that moving around and some fortunate travel outside abroad gave me a perspective on how different cultures think about each other and how blessed I was to be in Wisconsin. In 1986, I graduated from Carthage College in Kenosha, Wisconsin, with a BFA in Commercial Design and Studio Art.

After graduation, I made my permanent home here in Wauwatosa and picked up the hobby of Home-brewing with some friends. We did pretty well in local competitions, but it taught me that, like my interest in Digital Media, it was a combination of Art and Science. Improving on previous brews meant being open to changing processes, honing my sense of taste, and keeping meticulous records of updates to each new beer’s ingredients.

So when I finally decided to start my own freelance digital media business, the word “Draft” came to mind. It had multiple meanings to me and signified the relationship that a first draft, and all the discovery behind a first draft, had with my work.

I’ve worked in graphic design and digital marketing for over thirty years building websites, branding, e-commerce platforms, email templates, CSS Animation, Responsive Design and various other areas of Digital Marketing. My work focuses on combining design and an understanding of user experience and user interface that lead to an intuitive experience for all end users.
